On this day my friends and I got a reservation at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop which is located at Disney's Beach Club Resort. First of all, the resort is GORGEOUS! I love the Boardwalk area and how close it is to Epcot. I highly recommend giving the Boardwalk and Beaches and Cream Soda Shop a look during your next visit. Another eatery in Disney's Beach Club Resort that I did not get to visit but I would like to one day is the Cape May Cafe for their Seafood-and-More Dinner Buffet. Anyways getting back to Beaches and Cream, what a fun experience! We went strictly for dessert. As a group we ordered the famous Kitchen Sink. There were the six of us eating this one massive dessert made of many sugary treats. These treats included: fudge topping, butterscotch topping, peanut butter topping, a banana, cinnamon spice and angel food cupcake, vanilla ice cream, chocolate ice cream, strawberry ice cream, mint chocolate chip ice cream, coffee ice cream, chocolate syrup, marshmallow creme, strawberry and pineapple topping, a WHOLE CAN of whipped cream, a brownie, a candy bar, chocolate cookies with cream filling, toasted almonds, dark and white chocolate shavings, chocolate cookies with cream filling, jellied orange slices, milk chocolate chip and peanut butter chip morsels, chocolate and rainbow sprinkles, and maraschino cherries. The cost of this massive dessert was $35.00 split between the six of us. The dessert was exciting and sweet, a total treat. I am happy that I was able to experience the excitement of the Kitchen Sink but I do not think that I would order it again (they have so many other good options). The dessert did melt quickly and about halfway through it was mostly melted. I would say that it is worth it to order (at least once) especially with loved ones. Hopefully you and your loved ones will have as much fun as we did!
