Toledo and Dahlia Lounge are both located atop Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Toledo is an unique rooftop dining experience that serves tapas, seafood, steak, and stunning views. While dining is inside under a colorful vaulted ceiling, there is so much to see! Inside you can see an on-stage tapas kitchen that serves charcutería, cheeses, and small plates. Inside there is a wine wall that highlights Spanish wines with over 50 choices hand-selected by their Master Sommelier. Outside you can see Spaceship Earth in Epcot, Tower of Terror in Hollywood Studios, Expedition Everest in Animal Kingdom, and more! I was blown away by Toledo completely, and this was before even having a single bite!
Now to the important part, what we ate! I ordered the Marinated Hanger Steak medium with potatoes, salsa Verde, greens and blistered peppers for $32.00. It was amazing and perfect, I had no complaints. I had a Tequila Daisy to drink made with Don Julio Blanco Tequila, Torres Magdala Naranjas del Mediterráneo, grapefruit, lime, hibiscus and soda water for $14.00. The drink was pretty and tasted good! My sister ordered the Marinated Hanger Steak but cooked medium well. She thought that her meal was really good and well seasoned. She had
Ponche de Frutas to drink made with Hubert's® Pomegranate Limeade, sweet-and-sour, pineapple, blackberry and soda water for $5.49. She loved her drink! My dad ordered the Marinated Hanger Steak but cooked well done. He described his meal as aromatic and mouth watering. My mom ordered the Scallops with vegetable purée, olives, harissa vinaigrette, and roasted carrots for $32.00. She enjoyed her meal so much that she would order it again! She had a glass of Rosé wine to drink and she liked it. For dessert, my sister and I shared a serving of Chocolate-Avocado Mousse with strawberry-basil sorbet and coconut crumble for $10.00. Our dessert was good but not great. My dad ordered 'The Toledo Tapas Bar' which featured the flavors of Spanish coffee, crunchy chocolate, raspberry mousse, and lemon curd for $12.00. His dessert was a progression of one wonder to another. I did prefer my dad's dessert over my own. My mom ordered the Classic Crema Catalana that had Valencia orange and chocolate tuile for $8.00. She particularly enjoyed the cream of this dessert. From this experience, I would recommend getting your own plate of dessert since the portion sizes are petite.
Overall, we had a fabulous dining experience at Toledo! We had wonderful meals and service. I cannot wait to return to this romantic rooftop restaurant that truly makes you feel special!
Across from Toledo is Dahlia Lounge which serves drinks and tapas. On a different night during our stay, I came here to get a drink with my friends. We had a great time sipping on our specialty cocktails while looking out at the views of Walt Disney World.
Overall, I highly recommend coming to Coronado Springs Resort to eat and drink at both Toledo and Dahlia Lounge. The views alone would make this a worthwhile experience but add on food and drinks and you are in for a real treat.
