I recently visited The Mad Batter Restaurant & Bar with my friends. I have been wanting to try this place out for years and it did not disappoint. It is one of Cape May's longest operating restaurants, family owned since 1976. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily all year-round. The Mad Batter is located inside the Carroll Villa Hotel which is a national landmark that has been welcoming guests since 1882.
Our wait time was much shorter than estimated, our service was good, and the vibe inside was cute and quirky in a fun way. I ordered the Buttermilk Pancakes, stack of three, with blueberries for $11 and a Mango Mimosa for $13. I wasn't sure if just three pancakes would be enough for me, but it was, and they tasted so good! I can't wait to come back again soon and enjoy more delicious food!
