National Aquarium

Baltimore, Maryland

May 2016 & November 2019

I have visited the National Aquarium twice with my boyfriend, Ryan. We first went in May of 2016 for our first date and then again in November of 2019 to celebrate our 3.5 years together. We had such an amazing first date visiting the Aquarium in 2016, we especially enjoyed the interactive areas where we could touch the different sea creatures. We also enjoyed seeing all of the sharks in Shark Alley. When we went last November, we had a great time once again! I especially enjoyed seeing the giant sea turtle (again) and the jellyfish.

There are over 20,000 animals and 800 species in the National Aquarium. The exhibits include Amazon River Forest, Atlantic Coral Reef, Australia: Wild Extremes, Blacktip Reef, Dolphin Discovery, Jellies Invasion, Living Seashore, Maryland: Mountains to the Sea, North Atlantic to the Pacific, Shark Alley, Surviving Through Adaptation, Upland Tropical Rainforest, and Waterfront Park. Tickets for adults are $39.95 and tickets for children are $29.95.

Overall, the National Aquarium is a large and beautiful place to visit for all ages! I think that this Aquarium has something for everyone to enjoy while visiting. One of the best parts about visiting the National Aquarium is that there is a lot to do outside of the Aquarium. With a multitude of shops and restaurants, you are in for a full day affair. It is an attractive and lively area to visit and the Aquarium is the icing on top of the cake, it is a must do!
