Flying in for a Bite

One of my favorite under the radar breakfast/lunch spots is the Flight Deck Diner. My family discovered this small local diner well over five years ago (possibly even ten plus years ago) from my grandparents. It has been one of our must hit spots ever since. The food is of good quality, there is an extensive menu, and reasonable prices. The staff is always friendly and we have genuinely never had a bad experience. One of my favorite breakfast meals to get is strawberry pancakes! On our last trip to Flight Deck, we sat outside (coronavirus influenced - they do not typically have outdoor seating). While outside we were able to see a dad and son get their breakfast from the diner and take it back to their plane (that's right this diner is located next to a small airport). After they finished their meal on the wing of the airplane, they got back into their plane and took off. Talk about breakfast and a show! At our last visit my boyfriend got eggs benedict and my sister got the banana walnut french toast (it smelled so good). Over the years we have tried a variety of menu items and have loved them all. The diner is rather small and most times we do have a short wait but we really enjoy the food and environment. Best of all, the Cape May Brewery is located just minutes away in the same location.
