Day Two, Two Parks

This was our adventure day, traveling through space, time, and around the world! We started off at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which we rope dropped at 8:30 AM. Our plan was to go on Rise of the Resistance, but it was not open at the time of our arrival so instead of waiting, we continued on and went on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. This was my first time on this ride and Avery, and I were both selected as pilots. I had a fun time on this ride, and I would definitely go on it again! We rushed over to Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway after and got on in no time. From here we went over to Alien Swirling Saucers and then it was time for our Lightning Lane on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. This is my second time on this ride, and I am not sure how Avery has tricked me on it both times. After that thrilling ride, we headed over to Oga’s Cantina for some much-needed libations. It was Avery’s first time at Oga’s, so he tried the Fuzzy Tauntaun for $19.00 and I had the Bespin Fizz for $21.50. We also ordered the Umbaran Cheese Roll for $12.00. This was when I realized that I only had one Lactose pill with me. So, Avery and I split the pill and had an out of this world experience at Oga’s. After Oga’s, we went back on Alien Swirling Saucers as we had a Lightning Lane pass for it. Afterwards, we went to watch Muppet*Vision3D. We then grabbed lunch from Woody’s Lunch Box, and I had the Smoked Turkey Sandwich for $11.49 and Avery had the Grilled Three-Cheese Sandwich for $10.99. Unfortunately, my sandwich was quite dry, and I think next time I will try the BBQ Brisket Melt. Lastly, we had a Lightning Lane for Toy Story Mania!, where Avery once again annihilated me. Instead of going directly over to Epcot, we took a brief break back at our resort as this was an abnormally cold Florida day and we were freezing, even though we were layered up.

When we went back out to Epcot, I added on even more layers. I had leggings and sweatpants on, a long sleeve shirt, and two hoodies. Avery had shorts and sweatpants on, a t-shirt, and two hoodies. We looked like true Floridians, just kidding my grandpa would have been in a snowsuit, indoors, with the heat up to 90. We made it work though; we have tough PA skin, and my determination is unmatched. We braved the arctic to go on Soarin’ Around the World with our Lightning Lane passes, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and the Seas with Nemo & Friends. Then we hit up the World Showcase where we got the Fiesta Margarita at Choza de Margarita in Mexico for $15.00 each, and I got the Schofferhofer Pink Grapefruit Hefeweizen - Germany for $11.75 in Germany. To finish our night off, we had dining reservations at Tutto Italia Ristorante. I ordered the Pesce Spada (grilled swordfish, crushed potatoes, Scillian tomato pesto and piccata sauce for $36.00) with a Bellini (peach puree, prosecco for $16.00) and Avery ordered the Fettuccine (creamy alfredo sauce with added grilled chicken breast for a total of $35.00). Everything was wonderful from the food to the service here. We took the Skyliner back to our resort as we closed out our Disney Park adventures. Tomorrow would be our last day and while we did not go into any parks, we made sure to make the most out of every last magical minute.
