A City to Remember

September 19, 2023

My morning routine went the same as usual with my breakfast of hard-boiled eggs, a peach, and a kiwi. After breakfast, we packed up the bus and headed to Munich, Germany which was about a two hour and fifteen-minute drive. Along our way we stopped at a gas station to use the restroom which cost 1 Euro. We drove straight to Munich where we ate, shopped, went sightseeing, and had a walking tour of the city. For lunch, I had a meal that was similar to a hot dog with French fries. While shopping, I got an authentic dirndl, a pretzel necklace, a flower crown with real dried flowers, and a scarf for my sister. After an exciting day in the city, we finally checked into our hotel, B&B HOTEL Munchen City-Ost, where we briefly got ourselves ready for dinner. To get to dinner, we took a public bus and then a train. We ate dinner at Augustiner: Brau Munchen, where I had soup, schnitzel, mousse with fruit, beer, and a pear shot. Our dinner ran late, and we had a full day planned at Oktoberfest for tomorrow, so we all headed back to the hotel to end our night.
